Statement Regarding COVID-19 from Texas Organ Sharing Alliance

UPDATED 10/19/2020
In the wake of Coronavirus (COVID-19), we at Texas Organ Sharing Alliance (TOSA) want to reassure our staff, volunteers and partners that their health and well-being are our top priorities.

As you are probably aware, Texas' "Stay at Home" order -- which was intended to help slow the spread of COVID-19 -- has come to an end. As our communities are all still seeing new cases of coronavirus every day, we will continue our efforts from home and cannot participate in any public events until further notice.

We continue to encourage practicing social distancing, using good hygiene practices and self-quarantining after a potential interaction with an infected individual.

We continue to follow the guidance of local, state and federal authorities, including the Centers for Disease Control. A good resource for information on COVID-19 is available at the CDC website.

TOSA and its staff remain committed to providing organ donation and recovery services for families in Central and South Texas.
