SAN ANTONIO, TX (November 1, 2025) - This Día de los Muertos, Texas Organ Sharing Alliance invited families to honor their loved ones who gave the gift of life through organ donation during the Ofrendas y Recuerdos event on Saturday, November 1.

This heartfelt event welcomed donor families to visit TOSA's altar in their Donor Memorial Garden, featuring photos of over 110 TOSA donors. Families left sealed ofrenda for their loved one, enjoyed light refreshments, and placed a marigold flower on their loved one's medal on the Wall of Heroes.
“Our Ofrendas y Recuerdos event is a beautiful way for our community of donor families to come together and pay tribute to their loved ones who gave the gift of life,” said TOSA President and CEO Joseph Nespral. “We are honored to hold events like these to provide donor families with a sacred space to remember their loved ones and ensure their legacy lives on.”
